Your Unused Personal or Company Computers Can Make a Huge Difference to a Child’s Education There are schools throughout the country struggling to provide effective home learning to their poorer pupils. Despite teachers efforts, kids without a computer or online access are getting behind on their studies, they simply do not have the same access to online educational resources as their wealthier friends. With your support, Every Child Online’s goal is to help close this educational gap and ensure all our children have the correct equipment to learn from home. We need the support of UK companies and individuals, supporting our funding efforts and donating your unused equipment will have a tremendous impact on the education of our children.    We are ideally looking for any PC or laptop no older than ten years old, preferably clean and in a working condition. Our regional IT partners at Sunrise Technologies will ‘securely’ wipe any company or private data, then upgrade and update the hardware/software as needed, we will then to pass them on to the Schools that desperately need them.  The school will then determine which pupils will receive them. Donating your Laptops and PCs will make a considerable difference to a child’s future. You can wipe your computers old data yourself or have Sunrise do it free of charge, they will even provide you with all the relevant certification as proof.
